The company was established in May 2000 as a representative office for Wilhelmsen Ship Management formerly known as Barber International. At the initial stage, the company served for a cruise line company based in Miami, USA.

The company has grown rapidly not only to serve more cruise line companies but for other types of vessel.

In year 2008, Wilhelmsen Ship Management has made significant changes to be more focus to their main operation that has been done for the past decades. The cruise ships’ crewing management was not part of their future plans.

PT. Cipta Wira Tirta also known as Wira Manning Services in corporation with International Manning Services Ltd continue to serve the existing clients with similar quality of services.

Our reputation and commitment in providing quality crew management services, fair and professional recruitment of seafarer, effective training programs and excellent relationship with authorities and regulators will make the company to grow further and continue to add more values for Indonesian seafarer.
